In 1976 the band released this early hard rock masterpiece! Uli Jon Roth's solos became hugely influential for later guitarsits too like the ones in "Catch Your Train" and "Backstage Queen" that feature fast mixolydian phrasings! The ballad "Yellow Raven" is one of their best! Uli wrote two Hendrix inspired rockers: "Hell Cat" with a proto rap verse and "Polar Nights" that's filled with inventive soloing! "Crying Days" has a dark vibe to it, while "Virgin Killer" contains Meine's most manic vocal performance on the album! Of course Rudolph Schenker plays his trade mark rhythm guitar underneath! A must hear for hard rock fans! Was this review helpful? Yes NoThank you for your feedback. Report this reviewThank you, this review has been flagged.
