One of my Favorites

I loved the Viscount Who Loved Me. Even better than The Duke and I. Kate and Anthony just make me laugh. Just writing about it makes me want to read the book again. This is definately one of my favorites from the Bridgerton series.

    Title misleading - Epilogue

I was excited to see a Julia Quinn book in the under $5 dollars catgegory. I did not see that it was an epilogue. I had been meaning to purchase the epilogue eventually but it wasn't what I was expecting. Lesson learned - read overview carefully before purchasing.

    Inconsistant from book 1

So many differences. Edmund was refered to as n uncle in book 1. Also, the children's names are different for at least one of the girls. And the father was not supposed to have died before Anthony finished at Oxford in his wild days. And all this before 2nd chapter!

If you like Julia Quinn, you won't be disappointed

Good 2nd book in the Bridgerton series. Not my most favorite, but still a good read. Editing could be better for the Nookbook, but seems that is generally the case. The continuation of this series is even better so read this one to jump to the next.

    My fav of the series

I've read all of Julia Quinn's books, and especially love the Bridgerton series. Out of all of them, though, this one really captured me. Her writing is easy, and not at all forced. If you're looking for a read that will have you smiling throughout, definitely pick up this book (the whole series, really).

    Good Romance

This story is rather typical, but a good romantic read. Not too much detail and a pretty good story.

    too short

didn't understand I was purchasing novella. Felt cheated with such a short read. Other than that it was 3 stars/

    Overall, a very good novel

The Viscount Who Loved Me by Julia Quinn was a very good read. The characters had depth, and the fears of both main characters, being realized and confronted, built a nice plot. The last few chapters dragged, but overall, it was a nice rainy day novel.

    NOT THE BOOK!!!!

I bought this book thinking I was getting the second book in the series. Nowhere does it say this isn't the actual book, including in the description, which is the exact description for the real book, not this epilogue. So, I got 14 pages that had nothing to do with the book. It is definitely not worth two dollars. This had to be set up just to rip us all off!

    Loved It

When reading the first of the series, I was definitely ready to read more about Anthony, and this book doesn't disappoint! Now, I'm ready to hear more about Colin, but first Benedict.

Anthony & Kate- I LOVED IT!

Well, what can I say? Julia Quinn has to have the one of the best series of romances in "The Bridgerton Series" of books. This one, being the 2nd in the series was captivating. I couldn't wait to see Anthony, the patriach of the Bridgerton family (and known rake about town, along with his brothers...) fall in love with Kate, a shrewish, almost spinster sister of a young debutante that Anthony set his sights on. This book was funny at times, heart-stopping, and sensual all at the same time. You will love Anthony's story as well as all of the Bridgerton series that Julia Quinn has written. A definite must have for your permanent collection!

    Love Julia - Be warned

I love Julia Quinn! do nto get me wrong! I love this book and the fact that it ties in all of the family some more. This '$1.99 deal' is for the 2nd Epologue not the 2nd book though! So be sure to read the ACTUAL The Viscount Who Loved Me and the following tales before you read this one! Not that there are any spoilers reallllly but it just as a matter of timing. Happy reading!

    Romantic, elegant, and real

The second book in the Bridgertons series is without a doubt a huge succes for Julia Quinn. Anthony Bridgerton, the oldest of the Bridgertons, is a rake, as she puts it, who is intent on just finding a wife to give birth to the heir of the Bridgerton family. Nothing too time consuming since london is filled with pretty ladies and the fact that he is extremely handsome doesn't hurt his chances either. The only thing is that he cannot fall in love with his wife because of a traumatic experience (that you will have to read the book to find out). He chooses to Mary the beautiful Edwina Sheffield but he ends up having more attraction towards her older sister Katherine (Kate) Sheffield. Now a whole bunch of obstacles and opportunities are thrown at them and they either grasp them or let them go.
What I loved about this book is that the characters are real. I mean real as in people can relate to them. Sure they may be in 1814 but time is nothing. We live problems of love just like they do. I love Lady Whistledown. Even though she's in other Julia Quinn books I just never get tired of her. She's whitty and frank and sympathethic in her own way.
I like Kate, she's strong and even more strong willed. And Anthony? Who doesn't love a good and pure devilishly handsome rake?
This is a MUST READ novel for all Julia Quinn lovers.

Classic Julia Quinn-A must have for the serious Romantic

Like her other books, I waited for this book to arrive on bookshelves. It was definitely worth the wait. I loved Anthony's relationship with Kate. The Bridgerton Pall Mall game was truly hilarious. From the moment Kate and Anthony meet, you can see the sparks fly and know that they are destined to be great lovers and loves. Buy this book. You won't be sorry.

    Good Series

I like this family! I like them a lot. I was worried that I wouldn't like Anthony but in the end he was a pretty good leading man. I liked Kate very much and it was a sweet, simple but good story.

    Great Romantic Fun

If you like to get away for awhile and enjoy historical romance, this book is for you. All of Julia Quinn's Bridgerton Novels are excellent reads. This is the first in the series and is great fun. I have read it more than once and it stands up to a reread.
