So What's Your Dog REALLY Thinking...?

How many times have you noticed a strange look on your dog's face and wondered what exactly he was thinking? Or happened to notice your cat casting a wary gaze your way and wish you knew what was on her mind?

Well, not only has Tim Link wondered the same things - he actually knows the answers. Blessed with the ability to communicate telepathically with animals, Link can tell you exactly what your dog means when he barks a certain way or what your cat is feeling when she casts a sidelong glance in your direction. Throughout the pages of Wagging Tales, Link goes into more detail than you can imagine while highlighting his colorful experiences communicating with the vast and sundry members of the animal kingdom at large.

An important point of clarification: Link doesn't profess to connect with animals via direct conversation, as with humans; rather, his connections tend to be made via feelings, smells, tastes, and emotions, allowing him to establish a more holistic bond with his chosen creature comrade. Furthermore, by using his senses to gauge the mental and spiritual energy of animals, Link ensures that his communications with them are relatively pure in nature, enabling him to plumb the true depths of their primal hearts and minds.

Amusing, engaging, and definitely eye-opening - Wagging Tales is an enlightening and entertaining read sure to make you think twice about what's really going on inside your pets' heads.

    A Book to Own

What a fine book. Every story is intriguing, written with clarity and honesty. From the first page, I found it impossible to put Wagging Tales down, not only for the clarity of writing style (which I always appreciate), but also for the author's unbiased view of animals - from their perspective. Tim Link is, quite obviously, a skilled animal communicator, a rare gift. I have shelterd and cared for animals for over 30 years and can say with confidence that Tim Link's ability is authentic. The book itself is nicely designed, hardbound in a smaller format with clear photographs and good-sized print. It is a book that will stand up well to many readings! Wagging Tales is also just plain enjoyable. A great gift to give yourself and your friends.

    Pawmarked with Meaning

Starting with the title page, we know exactly what this collection of tales is about: 'Conversations with Our Animal Friends'. And conversations are what these tales are, as Tim Link, a renowned animal behaviorist, actually talks with animals, finding out exactly what is troubling them. They also talk back - not quite in the same way as does Dr. Dolittle's menagerie, as these are all true tales, but in a way that is laced (pawmarked?) with meaning.

Each of the more than thirty tales in Wagging Tales relates Tim's encounter with one or more animals, ranging from the more usual cats and dogs to a far from conventional praying mantis. Developed over the space of forty years, Tim's telepathic insights into the different animals that people this work are based on his keen and careful observation of the way in which they behave.

Although we are told that the pictures of animals that precede all of the tales are not necessarily of the actual animals with which the author worked, illustrating the book in this way brings the collection alive. Wagging Tales is filled with the essence of the animals with which Tim has heartfelt discussions about images, smells, tastes, words or feelings that bother them - his role as mediator between owner and pet is pivotal to the text.

Wagging Tales should appeal to all caring youngsters, as well as make relaxing reading for all animal lovers. Tim punctuates the tales with some sage advice on how to look after animals as well. His kindness towards animals radiates throughout the tales, warming the spirit of the text. Written to elicit a generous and loving approach towards all animals, this book should find a welcome home on every child's nightstand.

    Sweet Tales

In politics the old adage states that "if you want a friend buy a dog". Ironically most presidents have dogs and the current occupant has a dog, Bo.

Many animal lovers treasure their pets and in Wagging Tales by Tim Link share more reasons why.

These four legged companions take part in our daily lives through the highs and lows. These god's creatures make our lives more enjoyable by expressing selfless love and support. However sometimes they get upset or simply want to share their point of view with their human companions.

Here comes Tim Link who has the gift to communicate with animals. This talent was discovered after he went to retreat on workshop on communicating with animals in 2004. With a sales and corporate world background, Link has developed his gift and shares it with pet owners.
According to Link, all humans have the intuitive gift but after five or six, modern society teaches us to depend on the spoken word to communicate rather than our other senses.

In his book, Wagging Tales, Link chronicles his many adventures in giving a voice to the voiceless. He captures in short vignettes his experiences with dogs, cats or any animal that wanted to share their thoughts to their owners.

Not limited to dogs and cats, Link shares his conversation with Pepe a praying mantis.

A joy to read mixed in with helpful tips on how to become a better pet owner. At 203 pages Wagging Tales by Tim Link is delightful insight into the animal psyche.
