    Interestingly good

I bought the CD for the song "The Remedy". I love his voice, and my favorite song on the Cd has to be "On Love in Sadness." I recommend this CD to others, and I will definitely buy his next CD.

    Modern Eclecticism

Mraz delivers an eclectic mix with 'Waiting for my Rocket to Come'. The song from which the title is taken should sound out of place on this mostly mellow album, drawing on genres from rock to pop to jazz, but everything is executed so smoothly and with such style, that it fits right in. It's almost impossible to find another artist to compare Mraz to, although his voice is very reminiscent of Justin Timberlake (which holds no indication of his music, which can only be described as uniquely his own). He has been compared to Dave Matthews and John Mayer, but both of these comparisons fall short of the mark. Mraz lacks the rawness of Matthews and the sparkle of Mayer, but injects something else entirely into his songs. I recommend at least listening to this album; if you don't love it, at least I can guarantee that it's impossible to hate it. :)
