An amazing story lie, mysterious characters, and a slight sence of humor makes Sharon Creech's The Wanderer a mysterious and passionate novel i will never forget. The characters were all belivable. What i like most about them is how they all have a secret to them. It keeps the story interesting and entertaining. The setting is also real and belivable. The theme was brilliant. i would recommend this book to middle school kids because theyd enjoy the dramatic turns in the story.

    A reviewer

My response to The Wanderer is it wasn't a very good book. It just didn't have the right kick to bring me into reading it. Even though it had good word choice it had a wimpy story line. I thought how the book jumped from journal entry to journal entry was confusing. Sharon Creech is a good author but she didn't do so good on this book.

I hated it but her other books are way better

I disliked this book. I thought that you had to know all these boat terms in order to understand it.
