    Outstanding

World of Warcraft: War of the Ancients The Demon Soul by Richard A. Knaak was an outstanding book. I enjoyed reading this book and I hope the third one is just as good as the first two. I am planning on buying it shortly. It was confusing at some points when Richard switched between the night elves, the demons, and the dragons. It was really awesome toward the end, they all were at the same battle trying to stop one another from becoming the rulers of Kalimdor. There are two sides to this book, the night elves and the demons which is led by Sargeras. The night elf defenders which is led by Malfurion Stormrage and the wizard Krasus, fight through amounts of battles to overcome the burning legion. The dragons, led by Netharion, are also trying to take the world into there matters by building a weapon of mass destruction. The burning legion, led by Archimonde, is trying to also take control of the world by destroying anyone and anything in its way by his mighty force. The only thing that is stopping Archimonde is the Well of Eternity. The Well of Eternity is now seduced by Queen Azshara which allows the demons to summon there leaders into Kalimdor. I never liked reading books that I didn't know about, but since I do play this game online I can relate this book to the video game, World of Warcraft: The Burning Crusade. Even though the books were made after the game it still leads up to where the game has stopped till the next expansion. Krasus and Malfurion go through some heated battles. For example when Malfurion and Krasus are flying through the fight riding on a dragon and having so many demons jump on them. I loved how Richard put all of these details in the book. It felt like I was there feeling what Malfurion felt when he was being attacked by all the demons while holding onto his life. I do recommend this book to others even though you may not play the game it was a really good book, but before you do read this one make sure to read World of Warcraft: War of the Ancients Well of Eternity.

    more from this reviewer

In the 2nd book it's still going strong

If you've made it this far keep on reasding. Kind of tough to review the middle of a story but yes this book was very good. Anyone who remembers Deathwing would probably love it all the more so. You really see how demented he was and this was before he stewed in his own hatred for several thousand years. :)

    Awsomely Captivating

This is the best book I have ever read! When I started to read this book I was doubting that it was interesting. But after the first chapter I found it hard to stop reading. I believe that anybody who plays World of WarCraft will also find this book very captivating like the game.

    Great book

Got the first book with World of Warcraft as a bonus. I didn't bother to read it until a few days ago, and found it surprisingly good. It held alot more life than the game itself, and details the character amazingly, giving alot of info on how they became who they are. I ordered the second book right after I finished the first, and read that in 2 days. These books are great. I'm now waiting for the 3rd, and may order the diablo series in the meantime. If you're a fan of Warcraft, you must read these books.
