    Brilliant!

    I count myself as a Vienna Teng afficionado, and two of my very favorite of her songs are on this album: "Shasta" and "Homecoming". Both are story songs about memorable people. Carrie in "Shasta" is coming to terms with her pregnancy, and the changes it means for her life. Walter in "Homecoming" is not in the midst of any life-changing events, but comes to realize that the path he's chosen has its rewards. Both are people I feel I know after listening to these songs, or at least wish I did. And the remainder of the album is filled with brilliant songs, each stunning in it's own way. I can't wait for Vienna Teng's next album!
