    Warning at One

I retired this year and have been doing a great deal of reading. This is how I discovered Ann Purser. I have read all her Lois Meade series of books and really like them. She is so interesting, a very good mystery writer. I do like the fact there are a continuing series of these books as the characters are so interesting. She allows her characters to age and change slightly with each new book and does a good job of adding small clues as to the culprit in each chapter. I am always sorry when the book ends and look forward to reading the next.

    I Also Recommend:

    Great Series

This Losis Meade Series is one of best I have read that is set in setting of an English Village, I have read all the days of the week books and was truly pleased to find series being continued. This first offering centered around time is again a very cleverly plotted theme, many affable characters, all brought to life in a very interesting way, keeping reader interested and looking forward to each chapter.I feel Like I have found another author of English mysteries I like as much as Agatha Christie and M.C. Beaton. Looking forward to reading next series offering [Tragedy at Two] to see what Lois Meade's next adventure will be.

    Poor Satan

With a twist of identity manipulation, this one kept you guessing who the bad guy really was. It was sad that the rooster had to die too.
