    I Also Recommend:

    Very Good Book

I read this book along time ago and with a great picture on the cover as well He has long black hair, tight black pants and with no shirt on,and with a swored in his hand, she is on bent knees looking up at him with red long hair. I keep all my books and covers, so when I need to go back and see what others cant see like the covers. I sure do not know why the other give it a 4 star. What can I say how well it was done, you will have to read it for your self. He was a great worrior. I have never had a dislike of any of Nicole Jordans books. I have read most of them. I have read theses as well and just as good. I give Mrs Jordan a 10 Star.

    Very Good!

This was the first book I read by Nicole Jordan and not the last! The characters were so well defined, I felt as if I personally new them. The sex scenes are steamy and erotic! I enjoyed the battle of wills between the main characters sense neither would give in. The only bad thing I would have to say about this book would be that it was in some places to drawn out.

    Not her best

I usually enjoy Nicole Jordan's novels but this one was too long and drawn out. The plot was boring and she basically repeated herself with the dialogue. This one is definitely not her best.

    GOOD READ

Any other book by nicole jordan deserves 5 stars. Perhaps because this is a reissue from years ago it isn't quite as good as her others. Or maybe it was that the warrior was a whiney male who refused to believe ariane can be a trusted female. A steamy read as usual. What you normally expect from jordan-you get.

    Good but long winded!

I enjoyed this historical romance but, it seemed to drag, A LOT. The plot was good but it kept going over the same stuff again and again. The characters and setting are very well done.

Beautiful and historically accurate and sexy...

If you love ROMANCE, the kind where you are dying for the hero and heroine to fall in love, but only if it's realistic, THE WARRIOR is what you'll want to read. I fall into the 'reality' created by Nicole Jordan because a) her characters are well-drawn, strong, and engaging b) her historical accuracy has me shaking my head in wonder... she does NOT cheat or skimp in this area (hence, you're there in the 12th century, IN the story, with them.. c) her love scenes are so gorgeous(and varied) as to die for. This is a revised version in the old first edition of THE WARRIOR, Ranulf (the hero) was really VERY rough at times with Ariane(the heroine), but actually the roughness would've been perfectly in keeping with 12-century mores... but it's sometimes hard for modern readers to get past this. In this new edition, Ms. Jordan has made Ranulf a bit more gentle at times, without him losing one ounce of his alpha-maleness. She has written a beautiful and completely believable love story, complex and rich and full of detail. Nicole Jordan is my favorite historical romance writer. I've become so spoiled by the beauty of her stories and characters -- at times I've wept, I'm so drawn into them -- that now I expect each of her books to be fabulous, and she never lets me down. Treat yourself to THE WARRIOR, he and his love Ariane will capture your senses and your heart.

     A fabulous medieval romance

This new version of The Warrior is one of the best medieval romances I¿ve ever read -- filled with powerful conflict, rich historical texture, vivid characters, poignant emotion, scorching love scenes, and a wonderful beauty-and-the-beast style romance. In this version, Ranulf is still a fierce alpha-male Norman knight but he¿s more tender than the original version published in 1995, which not only makes him incredibly sexy but also more worthy of Ariane¿s love -- and the reader¿s as well. I didn¿t think Jordan could improve much on the original, but she certainly did. I laughed and cried and fanned myself and sighed countless times. This Warrior is one of my all time favorite romances.

    WOW, REALLY GOOD!!!!

Set in 1150, England. I really enjoyed it, very passionate, romantic & exciting. If you like reading about castles, knights, etc, you'll like this one. So far, I haven't read a book by Nicole Jordan I didn't like.
