Water is defiantly an original. I love the message Terra Harmony is trying to send out about our environment, which we really need to take care of it before it’s all lost. Right away the book starts off with a lot going on.

Kaitlyn is a photographer she goes all around the world to photograph places. When she’s caught in an avalanche while snowboarding in the back country of Canada , She knows she will end up dying in the end because she told no one where she was going and well now she’s suck in a pile of snow. That’s when she realizes one of her hands is not as cold as the rest of her. She feels someone grab a hold of her hand as soon as she loses the battle to stay conscious.

When she wakes up she finds herself in a strange place. When Kaitlyn finds out she’s meant to help save the earth she really does not believe it. I mean if someone saved you and then kidnapped you what would you think crazy right? But when she finds out she’s really the cause of all these natural disasters (not so natural anymore) She then has to make a choice that will change her life forever will Kaitlyn Stay and learn to control the power she has or will she leave and risk killing people or maybe herself next time? But when she finally makes a choice someone who works with The Seven kidnaps her and takes her off to an island and holds her captive. How do you escape an island that wants to kill you? When every time you move the earth shakes or the wind kicks up?

Just eh...

Going off of the other reviews...I expected more. The main character was great; she was strong and witty. Other than her, eh...

The story had many elements to it, the biggest being that we need to conserve the earth, which is true, but, it took something away... Looking past that, however, the plot was really interesting (And for a free book, it was pretty long).

What bothered me the most was the carefree attitude displayed when there was violence, even a rape... I just can't get passed that... and the book was slightly underdeveloped and confusing at times. At one point, the main character is in trouble in an airport and then that's it...she is saved, no questions asked and no reason why...

Good story line for young adult but..

Starts out like a YA book but then throws in some adult only content.

    Micah and the others ( / . \ )

I hate Micah. The main character is snarky rude predictable and very annoying. Instead of 550 pages it should have been revised better and put to 250. There is absilutly no need for those random extra long BORING parts. I DONT RECOMEND.

    Its ok

This book was pretty good. But i think it was a little harsh with the language. There is some mature scenes so if you are eaaily offended dont read this book

Hmm..this girl needs to get her priorities straight!

I think the message this book is trying to get out about saving the environment and maintain a healthier and greener earth is very positive. I like how the author took what many people believe is a boring topic and turned it into something action filled and witty.

My biggest concern in this book was the non consensual/rape scene, not the scene itself as this is a common occurrence in many books, unfortunately, but the disregard on the victim's part. See what I can't understand is when Micah was attempting to train her in the greenhouse, things got out of control, I won't say what happens as I don't want to spoil it for new readers, needless to say she avoided him, quit talking to him and basically hated him, until he bought her a gift, this is the guy who cares and protects her. Now, Shawn kidnaps her, beats her, abuses her and sexually assaults her and she is laughing at his jokes, playing cards and sharing feelings with him. Shawn treated her poorly since day one and its like his attack was just fine with her, but Micah's training she was appalled by. I think many readers were and will be very confused by this situation.

Besides that Katie is a likable character, she's strong and funny, but annoying with her choices, thoughts and reactions to certain situations. That's why I gave this book 3 stars instead of 5. The author needs to explain some incidents in this book better, like the airport incident....WTH was up with that?!

I look forward to reading the next book in this series and hopefully I can rate it higher, if the author wrote it a bit better...

    Good book

I got this book flr free about a week ago, and i was surprised. I thought this book would be a bit different from whag it actually was. I finished this book in about 4 hours, because im a speed reader.
In this book, kaitlyn is kidnapped and learns she can control like weather and stuff. She goes through a rollercoaster of events, which some she goes into very great detail on.
In the end, we are left with a cliffhanger which leads on to book 2, air.
The book has been an amazing read, and i cant wait to read book 2! :)
