A Wonderful Tale of Romance and Warmth

Though I'm almost 16, I am a huge fan of simple, easy-to-read, appropriate romance novels. This story is of a girl named Emma who stays with her distant relatives in a war-stricken country. She soon finds a wounded soldier while looking for her lost locket in the family well. As she tends to this young man's wounds, he begins to tend to her hardened heart. This is a gentle, refreshing love story that will warm your heart, give you hope, and you will want to reread it again and again. I would recommend this book to all girls who enjoy beautiful, sweet love stories, without having to worry about sex and other mature topics normally included in today's romance novels.You are sure to love it.Thanks for reading, and God bless.

Absolutely Breathtaking!

This is one of my favorite books within the Once Upon a Time series. This story was very different from anything I had read before and I was truly captivated by it. I fell in love with the character of Jack and felt like I was wondering what was going to happen on every page. I recommend this book to anyone who loves fairy tale retellings.

I'll have to ask the queen... Omg, Jack is so cute! I would reccommend this book to ANYONE. I don't care if you hate war stories or frogs. Emma is a feisty girl, and Jack is so... kind and caring, and not to mention smart! This is the best book by Suzanne Weyn EVER!!!!! And yes, I have read The Night Dance, and I gotta say, I love this book a whole lot more!

The best book I've ever read.

I am a big-time reader, and have read thousands and thousands of books, but this stands out among all of them. It is witty and romantic, thrilling and heart-warming. I've re-read this book to the point of having to buy a new one, though however strange this may sound, I am unable to part with mine.

This is one of those books that hide, unknown, and passed by in the shelves at bookstores, and are secretly a great, majestic tale.

I would want anyone and everyone to read this book. It shines with realisim and fills hearts with love. :)

great book

I really liked this book although it wasnt my favoite in the once upon a time series. I loved how the author put a bunch of worls war 1 history in it. The love parts were ok but i didnt grow as attached to emma and jack as i might have been able to. Overall decent book

A Re-Telling of The Frog Prince

This was a great story filled with love, magic and unexpected twists. It has a great plot and really well written characters that make it a very enjoyable book to read.

Loved this book! I thought it was really cute and sweet. And I'm almost 18 lol I read this book in 1 day because I couldn't put it down. This book is at the top of my favorite books list! Great book! Everyone should read this.

It was a very interesting story. I couldn't put it down for a moment. Suzanne Weyn did a really amazing job on this book. I recommend it for readers who are interested in war and love. I thoroughly enjoyed it.

Water Song a 'retelling of ¿The Frog Prince¿', is about a girl named Emma Pennington and her mother travel from their home in Britain to their family estate in Belgium. Emma¿s father told them to go to their estate in Belgium so they could stay away from the war that was going on. They never imagined that the war could reach them there. But it does. Soon Emma is alone with no one to help her to get out of the country. The enemy troops take over her family¿s estate. The troops 'Germans' keep Emma locked in a room and two guards outside of the door. She has no way out. With all of the distractions of her to find a way out of Belgium she doesn¿t think she can find true love. But she does. Emma Pennington try¿s to find ways out of the estate. So she can go back to her home in Britain. I think this book was really good. If you like fairy tales you will like Water Song 'Retelling of ¿the frog Prince¿'.

I thought this book was one of Suzanne Weyns worst book. She mixed World WarI history with The Frog Prince. I liked the Frog Prince but this rewriting was just not the best one. I'm not trying to be mean she needed to do better. I liked The Night Dance thats a book worth reading. She did a good job with that.

great book!!

i loved this book! people that like fairy tales mixed in with a bit of realisticness would love this book....anyeone should read this its the best... its kind of like the frog princess series but its so different even if its suppose to be a re-telling...ya any way read the book its great!

I loved this book!!!

I think that this is one of the best books in the Once Upon a Time series. It is a really interesting book. I read almost all of it in one day, only putting it down because it was 1:00 in the morning and I had to go to bed. All that I had left to read was the epilogue, and I read it as soon as I woke up the next morning. It makes the story much more interesting how it is set during World War I. I would reccomend this book for anyone who loves fairy tales, and if you like some historical fiction it will probablly interest you, too.
