There is big editing problem with this book...
I used to like this book, and I suppose I never would have discovered the MAJOR flaw in it if I hadn't read it time and again. Leigh is 13 years old in the book and she overhears a conversation early on that her father is not her father, that Mr. Van Voreen was tricked into marrying her mother and the unborn Leigh was passed off as his own. By the end of the book Leigh reveals to her mother that she knows Jillian was pregnant with her when Jillian was Leigh's age. That is impossible. If Jillian was 40 in Web of Dreams then she would have been an old maid of 27 when she had had Leigh. It is very unlikely a beauty like Jillian would have gone unmarried for that long in that day and age especially in Texas, if Jillian really was Leigh's age when Leigh was born she would have only been 26 in Web of Dreams. Read it and see that the numbers don't add up. The only way it is possible is if the child Grandma Janna and Jillian are speaking of was miscarried and Leigh was born years later, because no one is pregnant for 14 years. Can't believe the editors missed such a glaring mistake. I don't know if the ghost writer was writing the series by that point but I think the quality of this book suffers if for no other reason than it was obviously rushed to press.
