OMG!

I am an avid reader who sometimes get stuck with the same authors. I look forward to the discounted books as it gives you the opportunity to experience new authors. This book was an easy read to the point I became a part of the charaters. It was a page turner and I read it in one day. I just could not put the book down. It is a must read.

    I Also Recommend:

I would recommend this book to anyone that likes suspence, humor, romance and tales of life in the early 1900's. I love Dorothy Garlock and am never disappointed in any of her books.

This is a typical Dorothy Garlock book. I love her accuracy in telling about life in the early 1900's. This is one of those books that you don't want to put down at night , but yet you don't want it to be over either. It has all of Dorothy Garlock's trademarks, romance, humor, suspence, murder, all leading up to a climatic but happy ending. She knows how to write about romance without TOO much of the trashy sex scenes that so many other authors feel is needed. I have read nothing but Dorothy Garlock books for the past 6 to 8 months and have become hooked on her style.

    ¿An Author to Watch¿

    A Week From Sunday
Written by: Dorothy Garlock
Published by: Grand Central Publishing
Reviewed by: Stephanie Rollins for ReviewYourBook.com 12/2008
ISBN: 978-0-446-61606-5
¿An Author to Watch¿ 5 stars
Adrianna¿s wealthy father passed away. The day of the funeral, she is told that she must marry his attorney, who she detests with every reason to do so. She runs away to a small, poor town. She meets a man who is rough around the edges but sweet in the middle. Will she choose love or money? Will she be able to avoid the forced marriage?
Books such as this spurred my love for reading many years ago. It is always such a joy to see an author who can engage a reader from the first sentence. Garlock is one of those authors. This is one to read and recommend.
