    What? No Screaming?

Great book, highly recommended, but I was a bit disappointed to find there was not one mention of the legendary Suscon Screamer.

    Not what I expected...

I thought the reviews were a little deceptive. I was expecting to find a book about the 'shoe house' and 'famous amos' and 'the red caboose motel' and indeed there was a chapter on 'roadside oddities' but other than that the book was too macabre for my taste. To me 'weird' means 'unusual' not 'gruesome' (guess I'm just 'weird')

Now I know Pennsylvania is ' Weird'

Having grown up in Intercourse, Pa I was tired of all the jokes. But now I can get back at my many friends that never let on about the weirdness of their home towns. What a state and what a book. My wife and I laughed for hours. Uncle Paul

    PA at its best!

Well, you have to read this book to believe it. So much fantastic, crazy, weird, mindboggling stories about our state. Stuff you can visit. Or at least drive by. It's great. Who knew.

    I heard about this book

As soon as Weird PA hit the Barnes & Noble I ran right out and got it. This book is awesome and it covers so much of PA that everyone can enjoy it even if they don't live in PA. Matt Lake is hilarious. This book is a must for anyone you know who lives in or near PA. It's going right next to Weird NJ on my bookshelf.
