    Courageous!

I think that it's great the E. Lynn is able to continue on the path to healing by revealing those things that are expected to be kept in secret. I wish him continued success in his literary career.

    Something People Can Relate Too:+

This is a book that people can really relate too. I felt myself being PULLED into his past, present and Future. It is Great Therapy for people who are going through something almost identical to what went on in his life. I LOVED IT!

    Great As Always

From his first book he opened my eyes to what I know today is known as 'Keep It On The Down Low'. I would've never thought businessmen and professional sports figures would indulge the way he describes characters in his books. Then, for him to tell his own story about his disappointments and his triumphs brings it all into full view that he understands the lives of those he's written about because in one form or another he's been there. I have a gay brother and never understood why, but after reading this book I was more in tune to what my brother must be going through. Thus, I'm trying to re-establish that bond we had as younger siblings. It takes a real man to 'Keep It Real' and to put it in a language we all can understand. Thanks Mr. Harris for expanding my thought process.

    4 1/2 Stars

I got to see Mr. E. Lynn Eye Candy in the flesh at a reading he did in Chicago and from his smile alone, I bought the book. He said he was concerned about people wanting to read about his life, but out of all his books (although many scenes are real life occurrences), I liked reading his memoir over all his other books. It was a bonafide look at his life from birth to now. I thoroughly enjoyed the dialogue and all his memories. The only reason I didn't give it five stars is because he spoke about how women seem to be so clueless as to whose gay and whose not out of men who aren't stereotypically 'flaming' but he gave no hints. I would've really liked to find out how he got his radar cause some of these sistas (like me) want to know to!
