    Rana DiOrio's "What Does It Mean To Be..." series is a

    Rana DiOrio's "What Does It Mean To Be..." series is a must for every classroom, library, and home. In "What Does It Mean To Be Present" she explores the concept of living in the moment, of being aware of what is going on around and within you, and being grateful for each and every moment your are given. The text is clear and easily understood by children, and the author's advice and ideas for being present are excellent and easy to implement. The illustrations are so sweet, and add so much to this beautiful book.

    This book is a must-have for busy parents

    What Does it Mean to Be Present is a vital read for readers of all ages, especially busy folks who want to teach their little people to value focus and appreciate life's little joys. The narrative is thoughtful and elegant; the characters are relatable and diverse. The illustrations are charming, detailed and beautiful!

    I think this is an amazing book. Definitely not just for kids, &

    I think this is an amazing book. Definitely not just for kids, "What Does It Mean to be Present?" reminds us ALL that being present is so important to living a full and happy life. Filled with beautiful colors, gorgeous illustrations, and simple yet elegant writing, "What Does It Mean to be Present?" is a winner for sure!
