Lauren Dane... Vegas Contest
So, back on March 26, 2008, I won a contest to receive a signed copy of an anthology book that included one of my favorite authors, Lauren Dane. The anthology is called 'What Happens in Vegas...' published by Spice Books. I wrote Laruen's web site telling her I would be a perfect winner since I would be in Vegas in May. How appropriate to read the anthology while there? LOL Naturally, the book traveled with me to Vegas for 5 days and the insanity ensued. Of course, I had to start with Lauren's story, Stripped, about the delicious multi-million dollar playboy, Nash Emery. I need to know where I can find him. WOW! He unwittingly falls for a burlesque dancer, Dahlia, while doggedly pursuing her every resounding 'No!'. The heat between them grows until neither of them can resist and then all hell breaks lose when Nash's family snobbery gets thrown in the mix. I read Lauren's story on the plane ride out and lets just say I started looking for Nash as soon as I landed in Vegas. I was so enthralled with the book that one day I took it everywhere with me... The stories were gloriously hot, but I have to say that my favorite was Lauren's. Yes, I am a bit biased because I've read just about everything she's written. LOL Thanks for letting me play!
