What Wendell Wants is a delightful exploration of the various types of dog people, as viewed by an obsessively protective dog-mom. Anyone who shares their home (and bed) with a dog will find this book resonates. As one who shares my home with two Wheaten Terriers, I recognized myself on many of these pages... and took comfort in knowing that there is someone else out there like myself! The book is funny, and Jenny Lee's storytelling is set at an ideal pace. Two Paws up for What Wendell Wants!

Not a dog lover but loved the book!!

Great book! Though I am not a dog lover (yes, I love cats), I found the book very funny and interesting because it was not only about Wendell but the lives of Jenny and her husband.

Loved it as much as I love my dog!

I was given this book by a friend, since my dog is also named Wendall (with an A) and I have to say, besides relating to MUCH of the book, I loved the way Jenny writes. I had never read anything by her before, that I am aware of, but I now a huge fan and can't wait to to read more! I felt her writing was intersting, smart and most of all FUNNY! I laughed out loud at times, with my own Wendall right at my side. I can't wait to have my other friends, be them dog lovers or not, read this. It is wonderul!!!
