Great Insight to Led Zeppelin the band, the members, the crew, and the lifestyle before, during and after.

The book is fairly long but is hard to put down. It gives great insight to Page's days before Zeppelin while a member of the Yardbirds. This book shows in detail how the band almost never happened and the influences in other band members' lives before they joined Zeppelin and what ultimately made them decide to leave their current situations for the unknown.

The only drawback that I see is that there is a lot of British slang used in the book. That is to be expected though since the band was from England and the write, Mick Wall, is also British. It doesn't take long to understand the British slang and really get into the story.

Mick Wall did an excellent job portraying Zeppelin for who they were as a band and who they were as band mates and as people during the earliest and biggest days of Zeppelin. I strongly recommend this book for any real rock-n-roll fans and fans of the greatest band of all time, Led Zeppelin!
