    The Gift Is In Giving

This is the first book I've read by Bill Johnson. I saw Bill on the Sid Roth television program and was impressed by his selfless sincerety. The thrust of his message is to share the precious 'gifts' given by the Holy Spirit - be a doer, spread the joy, let your overflowing cup dribble on others and in so doing, you will be blessed. We need to obey the voice that nudges us when we see others that need a prayer and ask them if we can say a 'Word' for them in prayer and believe for their 'healing'. We need to be risk takers. If we believe in miracles, then our 'faith' is what is important. If we have some failures along the way, the 'Way' will bring victory in His time. We need to give others the gifts we've been given. When your earthen vessel is filled, pour it out on others. Bill's words are profound, bold and from the heart. The only improvement I noticed: to make the words easier to read, they could have been a little bigger, thicker and darker with a wider margin next to the binding. But, the content is outstanding. One of the many lines I enjoyed reading in reference to the Holy Spirit is 'He is in me for my sake, but He's upon me for yours!' I'm looking forward to reading his latest book.

    Amazing and much needed book!

This book is a prophetic look at what God is doing in this generation. Heaven will indeed invade earth as people learn from Bill Johnson's many years of trusting God and walking in faith.

Absolute Gold mine of Spiritual truth!

This book has changed my understanding of who I am in the Lord and who He is. Because of Jesus's death on the cross we have the right to walk in supernatural power here on earth. This includes laying hands on people and them begin healed, praying against spiritual strongholds such as addictions to free people, etc. So many American churches are learning ABOUT the Father, some are getting to know Him, but a truth that is not being taught is how to walk "in signs and wonders". Jesus told us we would do greater works than Him, and he raised Lazarus from the dead! Wow! I suggest you highlight things in this book and read it at least twice as there is so much to absorb.

    Awe Inspiring, Life Changing

I love this book. It helped me understand more fully what the Lord Jesus meant when he taught the disciples how to pray "On earth as it is in heaven." The revelation Bill Johnson digs out of the Word, for his own study and shares with the rest of us is life changing.

I recommend this book to anyone who is tired of sitting in a pew every week and forgetting what you heard the minute you walk out of the church. There is a Christian life out there of amazing abundance that many pastors don't teach but Bill Johnson teaches in such clarity that is opens the heavens and you have a clear understanding of your life's purpose.
