    Great for College Basketball Fans

Provides a great look into the lives/teams of Bird and Magic leading up to, and a little beyond, the 1979 NCAA Final Four. I laughed numerous times during reading, but there were also some sobering moments.

A nice mix of information and entertainment. I felt that the book could have been a little more in-depth in some places, but overall, Seth Davis did a great job.

Great Sports and Time Period Story

This book captured the essence and spirit of this very important era for NCAA basketball and the two legends to be that starred in the Final Four. Really brought back a lot of fond memories of the time, event and stars. Even better is how the story benchmarked the era that was and the facts woven into a great tale.

A must read for anyone that is 45 yrs or older to bring back the memories...younger readers might not be able to understand the impact of this game and its main characters given the high exposure to all things NCAA Final Four that is currently available.

As summed up in the book...this event, the players and the mystic would probably not be possible today with the amount of exposure, maybe over exposure, afforded NCAA basketball.
