My mom heard about this book on the radio, and searched everywhere for it. I've been a fan of A Wrinkle in Time for years now, reading it so many times I can't count. She thought I might like it, but when I read it the story-line was simplistic, the plot random, and a lot of unneeded superfluous elements. Though the overall concept was intriguing, it did not seem to fit with the setting of the book, and half of the information was not even pertaining to the main plot line. Maybe if you're young enough, like 9 or 10, it could be interesting, but for the most part go with another intriguing time travel book.

    Good,mostly

I liked this book, but it was slightly predictable. This might not be the case for every person reading this book, but I could figure it out around halfway through the story. However,I did like the idea the author used, and I liked the setting of the story.I'd like to read more from Rebecca Stead.

    Not that great

At the beginning i found it confusing because it jumped around and sometimes she would be referring to the past and you wouldn't realize it and so i'd sometimes get confused because it isnt matching what the person just said. So i found the beginning to be a little confusing at times. Also the beginning just jumped it like it didnt tell you anything so you really didnt know what was going on. The beginning was very boring. It wasnt until the middle waa there excitment ans action. Overall the book wasnt to die for. Ive read better books. It was okay. The only reason i read was because of school. Otherwise i would not have read. It didnt take to my interesy what so ever. So in the end the book was okay.

    Okay book, extremely light read.

This book is about a 12 year old girl named Miranda who lives in New York with her mother. She soon recieves a strange note asking her to write a letter to someone, but it doesn't say who to reply to. She must explore time travel to save her friend, Sal, and rhis stranger (who in the end is not as strange as you think). This book was not difficult and a very light read. I did like how the book explained the theory of time travel. Probably for grades 5-6 approximately.
