Do not ask why you bought this book
While the individual vignettes of Congressional Representatives is mildly intriguing, this book offers nothing at all unexpected. By the time Draper rehashes Dingell's pet environmental project, the reader is left wondering what this lacksidaisical trip down the river has been all about. Was this review helpful? There is no offer of the sequester as the fruit of the struggle. The author had to get this to press dangling a red button as the ultimate moral lesson of Congressional machinations.
Clearly, Draper and his publisher had no time to waste, hence that task is left to the reader.
