    Romantic, Magical, Timeless!

Can true love triumph over the brutalities of the past, the whims of the gods, and a desperate leap through time? Where the Rain is Made by Keta Diablo is a tender love story in a land and time full of brutality, blood and slaughter.

Ethan Gray, a contemporary man, is a time traveler of Cheyenne descent. He has been gifted by the spirits with the ability to travel through time to aid his people in times of crisis. This time, he finds himself in the mid-nineteenth century, the leader of the bravest, most fierce of the Cheyenne warriors, the Dog Soldiers, leading a raid on a white settlement that will change the course of his life forever.

Francesca Du Vall and her brother Marsh are the only survivors of that raid, and in spite of their efforts and bravery, are taken captive by the Cheyenne. When Cesca and Meko (Ethan) lock eyes for the first time their souls collide with an internal need that even the barriers of war and race cannot keep them apart. The passion was there, but can something so beautiful survive the hate and bitterness all around them? What of the Spirit Council? Meko has been warned not to get involved with anyone from the past, that in a vision, Cesca could be his doom. One he returns to the present, he can never go back.
Keta Diablo had me mesmerized with her beautifully written tale, her ability to wrap the world she has created around me, was astounding! Filled with moments of passion as well as horrific scenes of battle, this wonderful love story will have you wishing for the world to go away and leave these two alone!

Ms. Diablo’s characters are well-defined, often humorous in their set ways, sometimes fearsome, but always real and HUMAN. Not once did I wish for the pace to change or for a different outcome! I was there, in each scene, I could smell the air, feel the heat, hear the sounds of battle. If an author can put you on the edge of seat, talking to yourself, and doing a fist pump, or two, they have shared their creative gift well! Where the Rain is Made is the perfect romance embedded in American history with only the slightest touch of the paranormal! Kind of like that “secret ingredient” that makes Mom’s cookies the sweetest and the best!

    Great book...a must read!!!!

I was searching, trying to find something to read when this book caught my attention. What a great find! I couldn't stop reading. I love Native American history and I just loved everything about this book. It was very well written.
