Michael Jackson is THE reference, the pope of Whiskey world and an extraordinary author which bring us through the distilled world of malt and grain through various books. In this book, photos and illustrations are illuminating the parole and bring us in Japan, Canada or Ireland... The group of authors who take the task of updating his work have made a great job. This bring us to discover the backyard and evolution of those brand. It is more a table book to reed from time to time than an authoritative guide in taste. I had to go to Jim Murray Bible to fully appreciate the taste of Canadian Rye as I could not found any where what grain or malt was used in Schenley Distillery for example. It's seems important to know the large usage of corn to attend the sweet caramel taste of Canadian whiskey name Rye. I like the chapter of Enjoying Whiskey with Martine Nouet in the kitchen invitation. Recommended of course. Was this review helpful? Yes NoThank you for your feedback.
