AHHHH the convict can sing and is really really hot

I love this musical. i;m not religiouse but the song Tire Tracks and Broekn Hearts describs anyone stuck in a small town. Then teh song A Kiss Is A Terrible Thing To Waste is one of the best songs on Broadway, and trust me I know my broadway. The convict has a deep, dangeriouse, romantic voice, and is soooooo hotttt. Then I love the girl that plays Swallow. Her voice is sweet even thought the southern accent isn;t fooling anyone. Then Amos is a timless charactor for a teen girl into the romantics. He is too sweet. When I heard the line, " It;s later than you think and a kiss is a terrible thing to waste," I blushed for some stupid reason. Can;t forget how great the convicts voice is. This CD has some downers but it;s wirth the ten songs that are awesome.

It's a Shame it Didn't Make it to Broadway!

This is a lovely musical. The more you hear it, the more it grips you. The title song may be the most beautiful melody ALW has ever written. And with Jim Steinman's touch, things are spiced-up a bit. It's not entirely song like Evita or Joseph, but the dialogue helps you understand the story. I would love to see it on stage!

    As good as it gets!

Bawled my head off, and still do, every time I hear this masterpiece.
