Good Book

I wasn't too sure about this book, I guess because I've read the same story line so many times now. Well I was pleasantly surprised! It's a good book with lots of adventure and heat! Must read for anyone

CIAO BELLO!!!

TWO OF MY FAVES IN THIS BOOK, A HOT AS HELL MACHO MAN AND ITALY! I NEVER DID PUT THIS ONE DOWN BUT I DID REREAD IT WHICH I NEVER DO!!! FANTASTIC BOOK IN THE BLACK ROSE SERIES!

White Heat is a followup to Cherry Adair's Hot Ice TFLAC novel and was sexy, fun and dangerous. Big bad TFLAC operative Max Aries tries so hard not to fall for art restorer Emily Greene, but you know the bigger they are the harder they fall. They are thrown together when someone breaks into Emily's home and tries to kill her and Max is there to save her, which is only the beginning of a series of crazy connections that all makes sense in the end and has your heart nearly stopping near the end. Loved this book and was sorry it had to end!

Great Read

I really enjoyed this book. I have read some of Cherry Adair's previous TFLAC books, but this one made me determine to read all of them. I like reading "series" books that incorporate past characters but at the same time doesn't make you feel like you 'missed' out because you haven't yet read the previous books. This book is fast paced, has a lot of action, but yet has the emotional struggles between the characters as well. Everything isn't always easy - which as we all know, is the way real life happens. The relationships have to be worked out - from all sides - and is more complicated than I am atracted to you and love you so we will be together forever! I enjoyed this very much.

Not worth the money

Bad characters that bicker all the time and total lack of anything intresting. There is to much past history with the main male charcters dad that makes the book one of those whiney stories about a boy being mad at his dad because he wasn't a part of his life. The book eas so bad I couldn't finish it.

James Bond meets a love story

This book was OK, maybe even good; but, it was definitely not great. It's a little James Bond meets a love story. I have definitely read better in this genre. I love the Shannon McKenna series much much more. I did enjoy the female lead greatly; the male lead's relationship issues not as believable as the author would have liked. I do have degrees in psychology. Given the love for his mother and the example that his best friend and co-workers set for him, I couldn't buy in for his conflict especially since he was feeling the lead since they met and he hadn't stopped thinking about her. I still don't understand how the supposed elite experts didn't know to check the tote. I knew it when it happened.

I thought this was a very interesting read. It had just enough story and erotica to keep me interested. A recommend.

Cheesy Cherry!

Predictable storyline. Easy to read. If you are bored and feeling like you need to escape for few hours, this is the book for you!

My First Cherry Adair

I really liked her writing style. The book moved long fast, and even though this seemed like it was a put of a series, you didn't feel lost.
It stood on it's own, and there wasn't a feeling like you were missing out not know the other characters.

Read like a good action movie...

I enjoyed this book. Equal parts romance and adventure. Good read.

Thrills and chills. Lots of Action; not just a romance novel

This story has a James Bond type of writing to it. Lots of twists, turns, action, and blood. Of course it has a romantic plot as well that helps the story flow. Great read, my first for this author.

This one was ok, not one of my favoites by this author. I would probably not reread this one, like I have some of her other ones.

OMG, I LOVE THIS BOOK, I COULD NOT PUT IT DOWN, I WAS SAD WHEN I FINISHED IT, I REALLY FELT LIKE I COULDNT REST THAT NITE WANTED MORE!! LOL WOULD LOVE TO SEE THIS AS A MOVIE PLEASE!!!!!!

Art restorer Emily Greene is stunned with the death of her beloved mentor, Daniel Aries. When it is officially declared a suicide, she feels guilty that she was not there for her beloved Daniel, who was sort of like a kindhearted father to her and she cared for him as ¿daughter¿ should be for her ¿father¿. She blames herself for not knowing he was despondent.-------------- Daniel¿s estranged son, T-FLAC (Terrorist Force Logistic Assault Command) agent Max Aries visits Emily, who hates him for running away from her love. Based on a pencil sketch he found in his father¿s studio he insists someone, most likely from the Black Rose terrorist cell, murdered his dad because of some nefarious renaissance art restoration activity. She fears being near Max, as she is not sure she can recover when he breaks her heart again as Daniel is no longer there to help her. However, more related murders occur along with bombings leaving Max and Emily knowing they can trust no one except each other.--------------- Although the WHITE HEAT romance ignites the pages, the story line focuses on the investigation that turns into counterterrorism efforts. Surprisingly, with kudos to Cherry Adair¿s talent, the torrid love scenes do not intrude, but enhance the suspense elements. Fans of fast-paced romantic suspense thrillers will want to read the second T-FLAC tale (see HOT ICE) because the action keeps on coming.-----------------
