SO...why do people hate America?
A good read for someone who is from America and wants to see another point of view. Some of the details in this book are shocking but many of the arguments are weak because they are based more on opinion then fact. It's nothing new if you've read other books that critique America but its a great book to start with if you haven't.Was this review helpful? Yes NoThank you for your feedback. Almost makes a good argument
The book brings up some very important and interesting views on why it seems the rest of the world hates America. However, as clever as the argument is it loses all credibility when the educated authors use television shows and other pop culture items to make a political point. Neither one of the authors are American and seem to think that Alias and The West Wing are representative of the collective American voice versus the actual voice of a few chosen Hollywood writers. All in all an interesting read that will make the average citizen question US foreign policy. Was this review helpful? Yes NoThank you for your feedback.
