    Enjoyable story!

Loved this book! The two main characters, Rachel and Nick, have both been badly hurt by people who are supposed to love them, so neither easily trust. Vulnerable and lonely, they stubbornly fight their attraction to each other until a deadly blizzard brings them together. Even after they come together physically, they must deal with personal issues before they can accept their feelings for the other. Rachel resolves her feelings first but Nick comes so close to never seeing what is right in front of him, causing Rachel to make a sacrifice for which Nick may never forgive her.

This is as good as it gets.

For me, the draw to romance and erotica is the sexual tension between the main characters. That is where the sex scenes get really hot; it's in the buildup. The downside is all the contrived character obstacles. Yet, in this story; it hardly seems contrived. It is a well thought out plot that spans over time. It's not two people jumping on each other right away. I so appreciate this because Ms. McLinn gives me the impression that she feels I as her reader am more intelligent than some others authors give their readers credit for. So thank you for putting your faith in me Ms Mclinn.
