    Deuces are never 2nd best

As an avid Wild Cards reader, I feel this book is a great addition to the entire series. Each story in the anthology gives us more secrets of the Wild Cards Universe than any other novel in the set. You get glimpses into 'minor' characters, some hidden history, and even fond rememberences of deceased characters. A must have for any Wild Cards collection!

    More wildcards!

The 16th in the series of George R.R. Martin's Wild Cards series gives us a look at some of the 'hidden history' of his writer-shared universe of an alternate Earth where super-powers are real, the world is slightly different (Cuba never when Communist) & things can be as gritty as our world. We get a look at the 'Deuces', those affected by the Wild Card virus but have 'minor' powers, plus some insights on side stories that take place in several of the other novels. Get this book & read it!
