Very enjoyable

I actually read "the china bride" first, not realizing the eas a book that came before. I loved this story (even w/ figuring out the deceptions) and can't eait to re-read the china bride

    I Loved this book!

This is a great love story! Strong characters, lots of romance and real tenderness and interesring story line that kept me wanting to know what was next. Its always fun to have some adventure thrown into a story like this- keeps it interesting. Love this author, and loved China Bride the next story too.

Different approach to a usual end

Although it was apparent early on in the book that our hero would convince his lady to speak, I found it to be a lovely story. I really enjoyed the melding of different cultures into the plot and found the characters easy to identify with.

    A GEM!

A very tender and sweet love story. If only all men are as patient as Dominic Renbourne.

    A Fairy Tale (for grown-ups)

What an enchanting tale! Mary Jo Putney's story has all the elements of a romantic fairy tale--love and romance, deception, a beautiful garden setting (you can really smell the flowers), a rescue, and of course, a handsome gentleman and a beautiful, mysterious lady. There is just the right amount of intimacy between Dominic and Meriel. I felt I really got to know the characters as they are well-developed. If you miss the fairy tales of your younger days, read this story!

    Unbelieveable

The Wild Child was the first book I was able to read by Mary Jo Putney. It was one of the most beautifully written pieces of work I've veiwed. I'm eager to become an avid reader of Putney, the writer who captured my mind. I couldn't set the book down until I was leaving this world into fantasy. Magnificant! Everyone should read it.
