A Great Book About A Forgotten Man.
William Henry Harrison, our ninth president, had the distinction of having the shortest term in office. He's become little more a footnote in our history, until now.
Gail Collins goes in depth and tells the reader more about Harrison than probably any U.S. History course in any high school or college ever has. His childhood and upbringing, his military career, and his political career culminating in the 1840 election of "Tippecanoe and Tyler Too."
