    A Great Read

THIS REVIEW IS FROM THE HARDCOVER EDITION (FULL NOVEL)

To be honest when I was asked to review this book I thought, 'Please, someone up there give me the necessary strength, I do not want to read yet another vampire romance', but I am glad I gave in and I am pleased to announce that it is such a very, very nice love story.

I felt so sorry on many occassions for William (truly the damned), and I hated the ever-medling James. But, I have to remind myself to remember that James loved Susanna just as much, if not more than William did. At times I even despised Susanna for her choice, yet I understand.

William is very forward for a twenty-one year old boy, but then again I suppose he has lived many years and are not perturbed by decorum and takes what he wants, when he wants it... This book is not for younger readers.

The ending of the story is emotional, sad and totally unexpected!!

Even though I am sure you feel as I do by now about vampires (too many of them), William does not glitter in the sun, he will turn to dust at the touch of the sun. He still murders and drinks blood, which he hides from Susanna. He is a real vampire who fell in love with a mortal girl, and for whom he will most surely make the ultimate sacrifice!
