    An Incredible Lesson to Teach!

This story not only teaches the lesson of giving but also teaches students to be thankful. This heartwarming story is touching to all ages of students and adults.I highly recommend this book to not just help a good cause, but to teach students the lesson objective of contributing to helping those in time of need.

    A Wonderful Treasure!

Cancer is never easy. But when a child¿s life is changed by the disease, it is often hard to make sense of in a young mind. Gary Metivier has provided a wonderful vehicle for parents who need to help a youthful mind understand what cancer is. Through the touching tale of Willie and his compassion for a schoolmate, the author teaches us how cancer can change the lives of young people and how kindness can also provide healing. This story is a great read for kids and adults and a great way for parents to bring some understanding to a difficult subject for young people. If your life and the lives of young people around you have unfortunately been touched by cancer in some way, I strongly recommend this book.

    Hope Gary Writes More

This was a wonderful book. My Mom and I had seen it advertised on TV and ordered 3 copies. As a cancer survivor, this was such a refreshing story. I had tears in my eyes when I finished the book. We need more people like Willie to show their compassion towards cancer patients whether they are school age or my age.

    Wonderful learning lession

This book is written in such a way it will keep a child's interest, wanting to read just one more chapter. The simplicity and straight forward message is there. Willie gives up a field trip to do something for others. This is a must read for all children.

terrific message for young people and adults alike

This story about a little boy is so much like many children today with a lack of inner excitement about life. The wonderful thing about Willie was that he really did desire it, searched for it, and eventually found something that made him very happy. The author did a very nice job sending a very wholesome message to his readers.
