    Excellent starting point

I don't agree with the other negative review at all. This is a good book for someone who needs to have Vista broken down into digestible pieces. It isn't overly technical, and it is written in the same format as the rest of the 'for Dummies' books. I would have given this only 4 stars for recommended, but I gave it 5 instead because I really don't think the 1 star rating was justified.

    Books for Dummies

Loved this book as much as I loved Laptops for Dummies, it also was funny at times. Easy to read, it makes learning about Windows Vista more fun & easier. I had bought this one & Laptop for Dummies for my neighbor who didn't know the first thing about computers & through these books she learned much more than going to a class. I highly recommend these books for learning anything & they have a lot of them out there for lots of subjects.

Informative and clear language - recommended highly

I have not read the book from cover to cover, but I will. I do a few chapters at a time, and review the material given in each chapter. The book is delightfully written, and provides humor as well as knowledge regarding my computer. I am anxious to complete the whole reference book. Worth the money!

    Another "Dummies" book

This book was much easier to understand and follow than the Microsoft book which I returned.

    Goood Resource

This is a handy basic resource when I have a quick question for navigating through Vista.
