Misleading, I expected a horror story.
I am suprised that the Permuted Press published this story. It is more or less a retread of Stephen King's "The Mist". Not nearly as good, and with the religion pushed to the forfront of the story, it is more Christion Fiction than horror. The author is not too bad, the characters are relatively interesting and the text pretty well written. But overall it's pretty hard to recommend it. If the reader is looking for an inspirational story, then you will probably get more out of it than I did. Normally Permuted Press publishes horror stories by some excellent authors, this is a departure for them, and I hope it's not a new direction they intend to pursue extensively.
Try one of the Permuted Press stories by Bowie Ibarra, Derek Gunn, Brian Easton, Mark Justice or even Kim Paffenroth. (Who is a religious scholar, but does not seem to feel compelled to include the Christian message in his many excellent horror stories.) Jason Brannon has an agenda, and if that's your cup of tea, you will enjoy it more than I did.1 out of 2 people found this review helpful.

YOU MUST READ THIS BOOK! YOU WILL THANK ME!!!
Angels, repentense, and the utimate judgement collide is this winner from Jason Brannon ! When survivors from the end of the world are confronted with their own weaknesses, doubts and an Angel gone bad, what will the ultimate outcome be? Jason shows extreme promise in this short epic. Love his writing style and my only wish was that this book was 300 pages :) But though this book is a short read, it is mighty! Download it now and read it tonight, you will thank me! As with ALL Permuted Press books, this one follows their standard practice of only providing us with the BEST books in the genre!!! So while you order or download this book, get a few more from PP and then you can thank me by posting your own reviews. Happy reading :)

Superb Read!
This book has everything from the possible end of the world and divine intervention to graffiti artists cleaning the streets of criminals by way of voodoo. Buy this book, you will not be disappointed!
