I got this book is about a girl named Tamisan who is a little unusual. Then she finds out that she is a fairy and she is taken back to the fairy world by goblins. And she and a goblin named Jak fall in love with each other. It was good but when I was getting deeper into the book it was just boring. And I skipped to the ending and it seems like there is going to be a sequel. I got this for Christmas and I was so excited about reading it but the story was just boring and predictable. Its predictable because you know the main characters just fall in love with each other. Also you know right away that Tamisin is a fairy because the book kind of tells you right away. I think E.D. Baker could of done better than what she wrote. If you are starting to read books from her I would suggest reading the books from the Frog Princess Series its actually a good series and they are action packed and full of adventure and magic and not the same kind of happily ever after fairy tale.

    Nice book

I liked the story and it was nice to read but a lot of parts were really redictable and didn't always have that much surprise in it. Overall I did like the book but it was a little boring at times.

    Anoymous

This is a very goooooooooood book
But I think it needs a little more action
besides that its SSSUUUPPPEEERRR though it
can be confusing in the middle. It,s also very funny
at some points. Oh and theres another
book to it I read it and it,s even better but
you should get this book still!!!!!

    Sweet

It was a sweet story, and full of action. It kept my attention. Great, but being fourteen, a little juvenile.

    Wings is the Perfect Fantasy

When I saw this as a nine-or-ten-year-old, I was attracted by the idea of wings, pointy ears and sparkly freckles. When I actually READ the book, I found that there was much more to it. I loved the unique fact that there was parent involvement--Tamisin told her parents her problem because there was no way she could keep it a secret, something so many authors fail to realize would be the reality. I've recommended this to friends and they agree with me that this is quite an entertaining story. I have always loved fairies and fantasy and the like, so this wasn't anything out of my comfort zone, but it was still an unusual book, "cutesy" in some parts but in a good way.

Good but can't even compare anything to reality

I liked it. But the more I thought about it after the more I realized that it was just to NOT REAL. Most of the parts you can't even IMAGINE happening even though it was in a teenage girl situation in the beginning. I think its fun to read but remember it won't be want you think it is.
