The book is outstanding. The seller is the worst I have dealt with online. I thought I was dealing with a branch of the Federal Government. Their communications simply STINKS. AVOID THEM at all costs. Was this review helpful? Yes NoThank you for your feedback. Report this reviewThank you, this review has been flagged.

Robert Sabuda's Pop Up Books are so creative and so much fun!
This book celebrates winter in a unique way. It is a book I often give to my other grandmother friends to share with their grandchildren at Christmas time. Going through them together is a special treat for both! Was this review helpful? Yes NoThank you for your feedback. Report this reviewThank you, this review has been flagged.
I have all the larger Christmas books Robert Sabuda has done (as well as some of his others) in my own library and consider this collection a very special one to be looked over again and again for children of all ages.

Super book to give as gift or keep for yourself.
Robert Sabuda once more illustrates in the manner for which he is famous. I put this book on the coffee table for guest to ooh and awe over. Grandkids handle this carefully so they don't tear the beautiful cut outs. Enjoy this and get one for a friendWas this review helpful? Yes NoThank you for your feedback. Awesome Pop Ups
This pop up was a hit as a stocking stuffer for my daughter and we definately plan to share it with some other children with a crafts activity about making snowflakes.

I was surprised that such a small book would contain such stunning pop ups. Now, many hesitate on pops up figuring the children will quickly tear them up. With my experience, most of the pop ups books which I started introducing to my child when she was a toddler have help up quite well. The secret is age appropriate parental supervision. The appropriate age for each child will vary, but I can assure anyone my child was definately a high energy child.

Nevertheless, being consistant to introduce the book with warnings about how to treat pop up books. The modern ones are relatively sturdy, but of course have their limits. Pop Ups are a quality time opportunity to show children that if they treat books well, they will last a long time.

While she was younger, when we finished a pop up book, we'd always put it out of reach. We lost maybe one or two well loved pop up books, but aside from the casualities, since elementary school, she can be trusted not to abuse pop up books and enjoy their fascinating scenes. Was this review helpful?
