    not a new book

It's a fun read but be aware you may find it at a used book store.

    Terrific suspense!

Witchcraft by Jayne Ann Krentz was a very good suspense story with another dangerously sexy leading male and a sizzling romance. (can't have too many of those, I always say!) Alleged powers of witchcraft, normally awesome in and of itself, is abused and twisted to further the deadly goals of a demented killer. I never mistook the author saying anything negative about the modern perception of witches, but any gift in the hands of a sinister mind transforms into something ugly and cruel. Excellent read. Also loved the tales by Amanda Stevens, Last Chance Cafe and Bayou Reunion by Rebecca York. The tales weave around small towns with murder kncking at their doors. The love interests did not disappoint. My only complaint---too short. wanted to hear more about the other charachters in the tale. Would look foward to a sequel.

Is it possible to have less than one star?

This book, while full of romance lacks any substance at all in the research department. The 'witch' was nothing more than a delusional crackpot. The author did not in any way attempt to portray a positive image of modern witchcraft. I was sadly disappointed and really wish I could get my money back. I was highly insulted by the name of this book most of all.
