A FASCINATING READ
kurland may have taken her numerous families as far as she dare and keep the ideas fresh but she at least provides the readers with a story that has lots of sexual tension but doesn't sell out to the lowest common denominator- sex for sex sake. As for the "Scottishness" thank God we didn't get some silly "canna/dinna" story set in the Highlands where they historically spoke Gaelic not Scots. That alone made this a great read.

A good read, well worth the time and money the reader will spend.

Another good one from Ms. Kurland
Time travel romances are probably my favorite of sub-genres and Lynn Kurland is one of my favorite authors. I usually just pick up the new one without even looking at the synopsis. I liked this book's twist on the whole time travel idea (at least it was a twist for me). There were times though that I found the interactions between Sunny and Robert redundant. They would meet say "how are we going to get through this?" and cry. (I'm oversimplifying but that's how I felt.) So, although it may have taken me a little bit longer than usual to get through it I would still recommend if you enjoy the genre and the MacLeods.

A reviewer
I really enjoy reading Lynn Kurland's books. I love the characters, the story lines, and that they are long romances without the needless sex stuff. This book will not disappoint fans however, I will say that the characters were far to weepy for me. It seemed as though she would write herself into a corner, and to get herself out of it she had Sunny and Cam embrace and bawl. It got a little tedious. Other than that, I really enjoyed this book.
