refreshingly unexpected
I was fortunate to get an Advance Reading Copy of With No Remorse. Thankfully, I was warned that they are riddled with minor errors that get corrected before final publication.
I loved Luke's story. After his ordeal in San Salvador, I was glad it was his turn to find happiness. This healer, with the heart of a warrior, was head over heels long before he met Val. Imagine falling for a roadside billboard as a teen. Imagine saving her with the help of a mule and an inappropriately placed potato.
Their story is full of unexpected twists and turns. It was the first book in a while that had me guessing where the next strike of the enemy was coming from.3 out of 3 people found this review helpful.

My favorite BOI to date...
Indiana Jones and Doc Holliday all rolled into one sexy hero. Couldn't ask for more... I have looked forward to Doc's story since the first BOI book and he was so worth waiting for. Gerard has created heroes that you can't help but fall for with their warrior ways and vulnerabilities and strong women who make them whole. This is a series that you do not want to miss; I keep these on my bookshelf to re-read over and over again.

Another great BOI book
I have been waiting for Doc's story for a very long time, and I wasn't disappointed. The only complaint I have is that the first 50 or so pages were a little slow for me to get through, especially considering how fast paced the BOI books have been in the past. Once the dialogue picked up and the background was in place, the book was extremely enjoyable. This book has it all, action, adventure, hot steamy sex, an ex-homosexual husband, and of course, the entire BOI team. I have bittersweet feeling about the next book, as it will be the last but I am so thankful that Steph and Joe get their own book.

This is a fun tale as Cindy Gerard provides another edgy dark tour of a foreign nation
Black Ops, Inc. (BOI) agent Luke "Doc Holliday" Colter takes a respite from the last operation to heal from some near fatal life support wounds he received in San Salvador (see Risk No Secrets). In the Peruvian Andes, he rides a train while musing that the biggest injury he suffered was his backbone has melted away as he now has doubts. However, in the dark banditos assault the train. He initially assumed it was a robbery, but changes his mind when he realizes they target a young male passenger.
The lad is actually supermodel Valentina who is in disguise following the scandal involving her former husband US Senator Marcus Chamberlin. Doc gets Valentina off the train after killing two of the cold hearted mercenaries. They flee while their persistent pursuers chase them. He realizes he cannot keep her safe from whatever she is not telling him. He needs his BOI mates ASAP. The truth is deadlier than he imagined as she is an unaware she is an expendable pawn in an international terrorist plot.
The sixth BOI romantic suspense (see Feel the Heat is an exciting thriller from the opening assault on the transport train and never slows down as Doc understands the mission first and his teenage-like lust last. Valentina is a fascinating woman in trouble but her courage under fire proves to Doc there is much more to her than just glamour and sex appeal. This is a fun tale as Cindy Gerard provides another edgy dark tour of a foreign nation.

With No Remorse
This is a new series for me Cindy Gerard really brings action and romance to her Block Ops,Inc series. A negative for me is the blasphemous use of Jesus Christ as profanity.

Face-paced, non-stop action. It's fun, it's sexy, it's thrilling.
Black Ops, Inc. operative Luke Colter is taking some much-needed down time, travelling across the Peruvian Andes via rail, when bandits attack the train. It soon becomes apparent that robbery isn't their intent, but the abduction of supermodel Valentina, who's incognito while recovering from a public scandal involving her ex-husband. Luke whisks Valentina off the train in a daring escape, and the two of them become the target of a relentless manhunt.

Enlisting the aid of Luke's Black Ops mates, they discover that Val's intended abduction is linked to an international gun-smuggling alliance. Now the BOI team, with Val along as a necessary pawn, must race to thwart a ruthless attack that would not only result in a devastating loss of life, but destroy the tenuous peace the U.S. and her allies have established in a dangerously unstable part of the world.
Ms. Gerard has done it again! This newest release in the Black Ops Inc. series provides face-paced, non-stop action. It's fun, it's sexy, it's thrilling. It hooked me right from the first page and wouldn't let go.
I loved the witty dialogue showing Luke's internal struggle. I could see the angel perched on one shoulder trying to convince him to do the right thing, and then that hot, sexy devil on the other egging him on, keeping him true but urging him to go after what he wants. Thankfully that little devil wins!
Valentina is a beautiful woman, but doesn't realize her inner strength is what makes her beautiful, and it's that inner beauty that draws Luke in. She tough and she kicks ass when she has to. Not once did she give up when she had lots of reason to.
If you like romantic suspense, fast-paced action, hot, sexy alpha males and their strong female counterparts.check this one out. You won't be disappointed. -
