Neat mystery and love story
I really enjoyed this book. It kept you guessing through the whole book. A lot of action. I look forward to reading more by Amanda Quick.

the book sounded typical & clichéd but I can honestly say that this is a very enjoyable book and worth your time
While this book doesn't stand out in the scheme of things I really enjoy reading Jak's books (no matter which pseudonym she's using at the time). I don't enjoy 'romance novels' but I do enjoy mysteries with a romantic undercurrent and plenty of character. This book delivers on all fronts. All of the characters are amusing, they're searching for lost artifacts (seems to be my theme lately, huh?), people are dying right & left, and I did not need my thinking cap to enjoy it (I think all day, I need an hour to relax my head!!).

Beatrice and Leo have a great character balance and they compliment each other. great! -
Very nice.
This was my first Amanda Quick novel, and although the begining (meaning the first 18 pages or so) was a bit slow for me, I must say I am very impressed. The characters are well developed and work well with one another and the plot. But what really impressed me about this book was the amazing suspense! The entire book kept me guessing all the way to the reveal, leaving me on the edge of my pillow and pleasantly befuddled throughout the experience. I would say that romance perhaps took back seat to the thrilling plot, but still left me satsified and very warm in the face. ;)

I love this author
I love mystery and romance and she has the perfect blend. Keeps you guessing from moment one.

Excellent
I enjoyed the book from the first time I picked it up. It keep me going, I did not want to put it down.
