Will read the others
I bought this book on a whim but it had some really hot scenes and an interesting plot. The writing style could use a little sophistication, but other than this I enjoyed it enough that I'm going to read the rest in the Wolf Tales series.

First Erotic Novel
Maybe, I should have started with the first book in the series so that I would possibly understand the story a little better. My fave reads are paranormal romance,so I thought this would be a great book to add to the collection. The book is full of sex scenes but really no romance. Also, I was not prepared for the m/m action and did not realize it was a part of the book until I was reading it. I have never read anthing but m/f action and am still not sure how I felt about that. Honestly, it was a little uncomfortable but interesting to read those scenes. I would only recommend this book to people who are very open about sex. Not for the timid reader.

Another incredible adventure
Great as single read, even better for those looking for a great on-going series. The author has a knack for keeping you in suspense and surprises at every turn. The spicy sexual encounters are always a great plus and build along with the stories momentum.

Steamy story, though you have to read the entire series to get a sense of plot
This book, the most recent in a series which includes short stories in anthologies, is nice in that it brings all the characters together in one place. That said, the romance is more sexual than sweet...not a book I would lend out in general.

Hooked
The Wolf Tales is one series I am hooked on not because the stories are particularly romantic or sexy, but because the characters have such interesting backgrounds. With this installment of the Chanku saga Douglas has captivated me once again with her shape-shifter world. I think both the fan and newbie to the series will enjoy WT VIII!

Great continuation
I love that the author adds new characters without sacrificing previus ones. Great continuation of the series.

A fresh spellbound thriller
The Chanku packs have grown by six newcomers who need mentoring. Three are sent to learn at Anton's Montana estate; the others journey to the Colorado wolf sanctuary owned by Ulrich and Millie.

All six have come from the mean streets and thus they are tough and ready to kick butt; that is when they are not licking butt. The old-timers at both sites look forward to some sex, respite and sex after surviving some nasty assaults (see WOLF TALES VII), but also understand the importance of mentoring the arrogant rookies using bravado to hide their fears. However, a mysterious newcomer arrives in Colorado shaking the balance and forcing Millie to finally look back at her past.
Following the climatic action of book VII, Kate Douglas proves she is a wizard as she provides a fresh spellbound thriller by bringing in the next generation. The story line is fast-paced and filled with sexual encounters of a werewolf kind. Fans of the saga will appreciate Ms. Douglas' new spin as somehow she makes each of her seemingly ever expanding cast seem different yet as a paranormal species appear real.

They are amazing!!
Anton and his pack in Montana and the other packs in San Francisco and in Colorado the pack is amazing..but my favorite character would probably have to be Baylor. It is even hard to pick a favortie character because they all have their own specialities People if you have not read this book series..you need to in a big way. Kate I would like to thank you and your creative mind writing these books. This book series is first in my book series list..and Twilight is second!!!!!
