    Best Book In the Series!

At least so far. Her website says she's got some more to come. This one started off a a little slow, but it picked up pretty quick. I really liked Tami. She was a strong woman dealing with the unbelievable and the unbearable. Tracker was a wonderful hero for her. He was a strong man who wasn't threatened by Tami's strength. In fact, he respected her. You could tell by the way he acted and spoke to her. Since Tami and Tracker are both in thier thirties, they seem a little more mature. Since Tami was raped (before the story starts) she's nervous around men. In this crazy new world, every woman is hounded by men who want to marry them. So Tami is uncomfortable and misses Tracker. He was hired by her rapists to find her and bring her back but since he figures out that Tami doesn't want to be their wife, he takes her somep-lace safe instead. He fell in love with just her scent before he ever met her, and he falls in like with her as he trails her.But he figures she would n't want a drifter who doesn't even have anything except his horse and saddle so he doesn't even try to marry her. Tami decides she needs a husband who can protect her from other men and Tracker is the only man she feels comfortable with.

Their love story is touching. Their wedding night scene is hot hot hot, but also tender. ILOVE this book. The other books in the series are good, but this one is a cut above.

    Enjoyable

I enjoyed this book. I definitely recommend reading. Also something useful to know is that it is 197 pages. I always feel as if I am guestimating when buy ebooks because I don't want to pay for a book and only receive 20 pages.

Maddy Barone, you have amazed me with this book. A romance that not only acknowledges rape, but takes the challenge of putting it in a central theme without diluting it into a distant past or magicking it away. An excellent read with likable, unique central characters.

    Enjoyable!

Should you dare to go beyond the author's story, it does leave one with a lot of "What ifs!" Could you do without the necessities of life and make do with whatever is handed to you? It only goes to show how "some" people so easily take things for granted instead of cherishing all that there is in the "now"!

The third book is just as great as the other two! I truly hope there will be more in this series.
