An awesome app!

I use Mathematica at home for some engineering and physics calculations, so I was already familiar with Wolfram. Yes, you could just go to the website and use it, but the app seems faster than the website when I am in an area with a bad wireless connection. Here is a hint to set this up- hit the app's Menu button, go to "More", then "Preferences". Uncheck the "send location data" box- there is absolutely no reason at all for the folks at Wolfram, or anyone else, to constantly track your every move. Then, after setting it up, go to an "Occupy _" rally and protest the fact that every damned corporation on the planet wants to tag and track you like a stinking animal!

Great app if you need to learn something

Wolfram Alpha has long been one of my favorite websites to use whenever I need to look up some sort of statistic, and the app works wonderfully for the same purpose. Putting in a term (everything from "Bagel" to "Jellyfish") will give a host of statistics about anything you could want to know. Even more useful is the built-in calculator, which can solve complex equations and even infer based on the question you ask. Fantastic reference tool.

OK App but the font is too small and no way to change the size

I bought the wolframalpha app as the website is sometimes useful and I thought it would be handy to have the app with a nice pretty interface rather than using the nook's browser. The app it's self is ok but there is noway (that i have found) to change the font size so it's almost imposible for me to read so i might as well have stuck with the website.

If the small sized font is readable for you then you might like to have the app otherwise just stick with the website.

Amazing

Wolfram-alpha has been a favorite search engine of mine for a while now, and I can already tell that the app is going to be one that I treasure and turn to frequently. The depth and detail of the information is just amazing. Highly, highly recommended for any student or anyone with a curiosity about our world. The math and science capabilities blow me away, and there is also a wide range of info about all sorts of other things, from the etymology of words to facts about geography and places. Well worth the price.

Great app

Love it. I use it often. Even if it is on the web worth the fee to prevent several steps. The amount of info you get is amazing. I have used it to determine the monthly payments of items I want to buy. Has prevented me from overextending my budget.

Wolfram app

This app is an awesome reference tool. The power and depth of the information need to be explored to be fully appreciated. Most students will find this a welcome resource once they are aware it exists. Kudos to the authors of this excellent application. I am certain that others will want to contribute to the broadening of the areas covered which are extensive already.

Love This App

Wolfram has been a helpful in my work. It allows me to search any statistic, math equation, etc... It's much more faster than using the site.

Great app!

I have used WolframAlpha on my Mac for awhile now and love it. So I was thrilled to see this app. The app works like a calculator off line and with the WiFi on it's better than a graphing calculator. We also have fun to typing in other (non-math) questions and geting answers. It's akin to flipping through an encyclopedia.

Best data app and calculator ever

I am a college student and i use this app daily. Reguardless if you need to calculate, graph, or if you are curios about a random stastic, this app is for you. All data is regularly updated and multiple forms of output are offered. You dont need to be a college student to get use of this app either. This is absolutly worth every penny.
