    Another gem from Lindsay McKenna

Review: Woman of Innocence by Lindsay McKenna I've been reading Ms. McKenna's books since 1985, and I know I can always depend on her for strong, confident heriones, men as heroes who actually deserve the title hero, and romantic adventure that makes me feel as if I'd gone along for the trip. Woman of Innocence has all of this, but in a slightly different way. The adventure here is in centered in the toughest terrain there is...the human heart. The terrain is tough because of the things we go through as human beings, that turn our hearts into ragged mountains instead of smooth plains. Being willing to love, to scale those mountains to get to the plains, is what this book is all about. Ms. McKenna handles this deftly, with understanding and compassion. The love story is one you wish could be your own. The adventure element is absolutely present! It flows perfectly in with the main issue of the book, adding to and highlighting what it has to say. This is a great book, one to read and to love, then think about later, as you wonder how you could incorporate its message into your own life. Which is really something all of Ms. McKenna's books do...they stay with you and spur you on. That's an awful lot to gain from a $4.50 investment. But after 17 years, I've learned that I can always count on that from Ms. McKenna's work.
