    My Re-Intro to Wonder Woman

I hadn't liked Wonder Woman for the longest time, but I picked this up while wasting time at Borders yesterday, and it totally blew my mind away. I got a total new respect for Wonder Woman from this book. It was bloody brilliant, it was.

    Great art with weak story.

I am a huge Greg Rucka fan and have always liked his portrayal of Diana. Here, I thought the story of a young woman who comes to Wonder Woman for aid is a little lacking. Maybe if this was part of her monthly series and could be fleshed out many times over it would have meant more. Here, you're not left with much and care about those involved very lightly. The art however, is beautiful. I J.G. Jones could do a monthly book, no matter what book, I would buy it. Fantastic stuff. Overall, pretty to look at but not doing much.

    WOW !

First of all, i love wonder woman but nothing ever really satisfied me from the other comic books or "graphic novels" nor the justice league series on t.v or her movies. So i decided to read this book out of no where becaus some of my friends said it was really good and let me tell you it really is. NO LIE !

Great combination of story and art!

I always hear that Wonder Woman just can't sustain her own title. After reading this, which admittedly is a few years old, I completely disagree. I have almost no history with Wonder Woman outside of the JLA or Justice League books and the animated series and I jumped right in and wasn't lost. Rucka's political angle was interesting and believable in today's climate. The art by Drew Johnson was beautiful. He's somehow able to draw Diana as a stunning beauty yet realistic. I was really impressed by this trade and will now look for the following trades. A solid A!
