Simplistic biography of a progressive bigot.
Historically accurate, but devoid of detail. The American Presidents Series books tend to be that way. If you're looking for a book that presents dates and events without probing the surface, this is your book. If you want more, go elsewhere. Wilson was a progressive movement leader with rather profound issues of racism, anti-catholicicim, and anti-semitism. Indeed many progressives have these same issues. To gloss over those issues is simplistic.
