    Production values

A very comprehensive collection of HPL's work. One glaring omission is "The Dream-Quest of Unknown Kadath," his major prose-poem about the dream-lands. The arrangement of the contents is annoying. The large works are at the beginning, and are followed by a couple of collections of the shorter works, in no sort of order. Arranging them chronologically by when the pieces were written would have made more sense, and allowed the reader to observe how Lovecraft's writing style evolved. Formatting is minimal. Not nearly as many words and phrases are italicized as originally intended. The scanning/OCR errors are more than occasional but not frequent enough to make it unreadable. Accented letters are incorrectly rendered, coming out instead as pairs of mistranslated Unicode groups.

    This is an excellent collection!

Lovecraft is truly a master. He influenced many modern writers and filmmakers. Lovecraft's style has an unsettling way of warping the reader's grip on reality. If you have not yet entered the weird, wondrous world of H.P. Lovecraft, check out this collection. It really does have over 150 Lovecraft's works, not just the better known ones. It is excellently formatted and very easy to navigate.
