I love a wounded hero and Ms. Stark knows how to write them. This book is a fun, fast read that delivers a satisfying happy ending. Jerry is wounded and back from the war, and the last thing he can handle is being around the woman he loves. The woman who also broke his heart. Kimber made mistakes because she was afraid to love Jerry, but she's stronger and willing to fight for her man now. I love how this love story is resolved between the two of them with the 4th of July as the backdrop. Perfect. Another hit for Ms. Stark.

This is a sweet homecoming story about a soldier who has returned to his small town. He finds his feelings all stirred up again by a woman who once broke his heart. This story is very well written and portrays life in a small town very well. Spicy love scenes with lots of romance. I love this author and have enjoyed every one of her books.
